Statistics versus BSL
I have found this rather good graphic about deadly dog attacks and the breeds involved in Germany 1968-2002. On the left hand side you can see the breeds who killed and how often. The red dot indicates the breed affected by BSL.
I think it is self explanatory:

That alone shows why BSL is wrong and a futile approach.
Deutscher Schaeferhund und deren Mischling = GSD and its crossbreeds
Deutsche Dogge = Great Dane
Mischlinge = Crossbreeds
Jagdhunde = Gun Dogs
Ungeklaerte = no breed given
