Missy and her 4 Pups *Gone to Rescue*
Meet Missy and her four 8 week old pups. She's a lovely, good natured staffy, great with people and other dogs.
Missy's elderly owner has decided to rehome both her and the pups as they have proven to be too much for him.
Not quite sure what the pups are crossed with but they're quite big for 8 weeks.
They will be travelling to Sweden once we get their passports sorted but will need fostering for 2 weeks while we get them wormed, vax'd, microchipped and ready to travel.
If anyone has room for any or all of these then please post here or PM me.

Re: Missy and her 4 Pups *Gone to Rescue*
I collected Missy and her babies today to take them to the vet to get the once over and get things underway for their trip to Sweden.
All are now wormed, de-flea'd, vax'd and microchipped and passport applications are in the post.
The vet bill today came to 277 euro, which we don't have. Any help towards this would be gratefully appreciated.

Re: Missy and her 4 Pups *Gone to Rescue*
When I sold my car few months ago I said I was going to give 10% to FOB but due to relocation expenses I hadn't been able to do so until now. My finances are recovering so I am very happy to send some money now towards this cost
Will paypal the funds now.
Good luck babies & mammy and thanks Karen for helping them to a better life

Thanks a million Elena. The pups are travelling next Wednesday. Missy is staying here until she can be spayed. I think she'll appreciate a break from them to be honest!

Awwww
she has obviously been such a good momma - those pups are almost as big as her! Well done all helping this gorgeous family - they look lovely; best of luck to them in their new lives

Re: Missy and her 4 Pups *Gone to Rescue*
She's a total sweetie. We would love to find a lovely foster home for this girl to stay in for a couple of weeks while she recovers from her spay. If anyone can fit her in, then please post here or PM me.

Re: Missy and her 4 Pups *Gone to Rescue*
Can anyone offer Missy a quiet place to recuperate from her spay from tomorrow evening until Monday?

Re: Missy and her 4 Pups *Gone to Rescue*
The Pups (Molly, Mindy, Maisie and Bailey) are off to Sweden in the morning. They're after getting so big in the last 2 weeks! I'm really looking forward to updated pics of them when they get a bit older. Can't wait to see how they turn out!
Missy was spayed on Friday and is now recuperating in foster care with Amanda where she's getting on brilliantly with Amanda's German Shepherd. Everyone who meets her falls completely in love with her, she's such a sweetheart and was such a great Mammy to her babies, but she's now having some much needed R&R away from her babies and is settling in really well to her foster home.

Re: Missy and her 4 Pups *Gone to Rescue*
I collected Missy from Amanda today and took her to have her final health check. She's travelling to Sweden tomorrow where she has a home lined up
This one really captured my heart. She is such a friendly, bouncy little girl and her whole world has been completely turned upside down in the last few weeks, first having to leave her pups, then getting spayed, then getting settled into a foster home, and now having the stress of travelling to Sweden. But hopefully now she will be able to settle into her forever home at last and will be spoiled rotten.
Good luck in your new home Missy, and thanks so much to Amanda for taking such good care of her for the last couple of weeks.
