Flora Women's Mini Marathon 1st June 2009
I have registered to do the Mini Marathon on 1st June 2009 and will be doing it to raise funds for Friends of Ben.
My friend Carol (adopted Lou Lou and Cracker) and her Mam are also doing it for Friends of Ben.
If anyone else would like to do the Mini Marathon for Friends Of Ben please let me know and I'll arrange to get sponsorship cards to you.
Closing date for entries on the women's mini marathon website is 21st April 2009 www.womensminimarathon.ie

Re: Flora Women's Mini Marathon 1st June 2009
So how's the training going everyone?
I'm up to running for 2k straight now which is a major achievement for a very unfit me!
There's a 5k road race in Leixlip on 9th May so I'm hoping to be able to run 3k and walk the remaining 2k for that. It'll be good practice for mini marathon day.
Ideally I'd love to be able to run 6k of the mini marathon and walk the remaining 4k so we'll see what happens
