3 year old Male Terrier/Pom X *rehomed*

This gorgeous guy was found injured (he had a broken pelvis) and taken in and treated by my vet. Despite her efforts to locate his owners she hasn't managed to and so he is now looking for a new home.

He's 3 years old and great with other animals. We need to try to get him sorted as soon as possible though because her dog hasn't taken too kindly to him and it's not aiding his recuperation.

Just spoke to the vet. This guy sounds like the perfect dog. He's getting around ok since his operation but wouldn't be ready for long walks just yet, but doesn't need to be crated either. He's great with other dogs and animals, including cats. He's not neutered yet and won't be able to be done for a while as his injuries were to his pelvis and surrounding areas and they're still a bit tender. The vet would love to keep him but her dog has taken a dislike to him and she's afraid it might happen again. Vet is going away on Saturday so ideally we need to find somewhere for him before then if possible.

Forgot to mention that Theresa would prefer if he didn't have to make the journey to England so if we could find him a home here that would be preferable, but not absolutely 100% essential.

Would love to help and foster him but am going away Monday till Friday, if help is still needed then will be glad to help.

This guy is now in foster care with Vivienne and has settled in great. Himself and Billy are great friends already

This guy is adorable, what a dream dog, anyone would be so luck to have him. Billy loves him to death. Both of them sit in my window waiting for me to come home it's so cute, rusty can't even fit his butt on the window still as he's much bigger than billy funny guys.

Friend of mine a teacher looking for a dog so she's having a look at this gorgeous guy later. Hopefully she's as smitten as me.

Yes hopfully, they are getting so attached, hate to upset Billy when poor rusty has to go. will put up some photo's tonight have a look at them together.

He's just a sweetie, hope to get pics up tonight, if not deffo tomorrow. will take some funny ones they are both comical as rusty's balance is terrible with his bad leg, keeps dropping on his butt for a rub. He drops to the floor to play with his buddy billy who thinks he's the boss of the wresling ring, ha little does he know he's a dwarf.

Have good news man contacted me from wicklow, said rusty sounds like his dog, he got out after a bitch in heat, said hackers have been stealing dogs from the area and dumping them after, discribed rusty to a tee, but said he was 7years, anyway hard to tell with dogs eh, has no picture phone so i will email him pics tonight said he had rusty's mother for 16years and she only died 2 weeks before rusty went missing so family broken hearted. said he would drive to Dublin 2 nite if it's his dog as the baby of 7months is missing him badly. Please pray to whatever you believe in this is his dog, man so excited and i would hate to disappoint him and the dog. Real name Timmy so i am going to call him that when i get home let's hope he responds well.

Oh my god i'm so excited never found dogs owners before can't wait. Angels don't let me down.

Hi all,

well sadly for both man and dog rusty was not his dog, he was devastated so was i. My god they look so alike but his dog is darker. he said he would have offered him a home but they took a rescue dog and she had 5 pups so he's a daddy again ha ha.

Asked if we would keep a look out as his dog was and is very special to him. So will do him that service, thanked us all for being so kind and unselfish and gave him a wonderful sense of peace that this earth is not full of horrible selfish people. so a big thank you to all for what we do from John.

Hopefully my friend's husband likes the look of rusty as she's gone home with my camera full of photo's of rusty and billy.

so maybe we could all keep ours fingers crossed again. She would offer him a lovely home she started crying in work today when i told her rusty wasn't john's dog. Yes another sucker for animals. Isn't it great there still animal lovers around in this mad world.

anyway will keep you posted on her decision.

No joy with my friend and rusty, hubbie wants something totally different, now what i do not know, ah well he's fine were he is for now anyway. Getting a little bit concerned as he's getting very attached to me tends to howl now when i leave the room and Billy loves him both will be sad to part but that's all part of the fostering, the painful bit.

Anyway he's lovely and someone out there will love him to bits.
