rescue space or home needed ASAP for dumped 8 yr old male boxer

Mary1 needs help for an 8 yr old male boxer who was dumped,poor boy faithful for 8 years to be dumped he is in a vets but will be PTS if no body can take him,can anybody help??

I saw him and my heart went out to him. I am full to bursting but I can offer rescue backup if a fosterer can be found.

I know Sarah I cant stop thinking about him especially as I have a 9 year old boxer,I have pups here and cant foster him untill they go to PAWS.Hope he gets help

Ive rang every number on the site at least 8 times eachand emailed them but cant get through to anyone,I even rang the ISPCA to see if they had a different number but they didnt and said they never heard of them????this is their site http://niboxerrescue.co.uk/index.html Im awake all night thinking about this poor poor boy he cant be PTS its so unfare.Ill keep ringing but wouldnt hold my breath waiting for an answer

Maybe try Boxer Welfare Scotland?

good thinkin will try now,but with him being 8 it would prob be better if he didnt have to travel to much or get too stressed but it might be his only option

got through to scotland and spoke to a lady who said that they didnt really take dogs from over here as there has been problems in the past but she would speak to her boss and that they are very full aswell.

No not any more. Could not afford to do this anymore. Vet bill is un real. Will still foster and if a emergency comes up and i no i will get some help i will take in that dog.

As for this lad, NorthernIreland recue have been on to me, and they cant help they are over flowing with dogs.
SBR has been on to me this morning as well they will take this lad if they can get a foster, which i will do, needs to be nurereed, vac and KC vac which they are doing now for me. Will have to get him fully health checked to make sure he is up to this journey.
Would a dog this age, i havent meet him yet but from looking at pic to me he looks a hell of a lot older than 8, be able for this long journey, car trip to Belfast, ferry and then car trip again.

Ah great news Mary,been thinking about him.I personally think he is older??my boxer is 9 and looks so much younger than the poor lad??Just hope its not too stressful for him but im sure the vet will advise xx
