Missing/Stolen Staffi Dublin 8

She is a 2 year old White Staffordshire Terrier, she has a few light black spots on her ears and a big black spot at the base of her tail.
She is quite large for a Staff, but the most loving dog on the planet!
Her name is 'Saffi' and my little girls heart is breaking she can't understand where her dog is gone.
She snuck out while I was bringing the kids in from the car and was found by a local 'wanderer' he took her to the Maxol Service station in Dolphins Barn where he bought her some food. She had no collar on and he couldn't keep her in one place.
2 young lads pulled up in a car and said they had Staff's they'd take her home and ring the dspca the next day, needless to say this was on 01/02/09. They are believed to be from the Crumlin area.
We tried cctv but the one camera that wasn't working was covering the pump they were at.
They were driving a maroon estate with wire seperating back seats from boot.

We want our dog back!!!! The family just isn't the same.
If anyone can shed some light on her whereabouts, we would really appreciate it.
There is a reward offered.

am keepin my eyes out for this girl kylee saw the ads in crumlin, will keep an eye out for that car too. this staffie has a black spot right above her tail on her back very distinctive mark. and that car is distinctive too, justine

Unfortunately she is not spayed....
She is chipped though and fido.ie have updated her status to stolen. So if she is in a vets etc they will hold onto her hopefully! But this means whoever has her would have to come above the radar and I doubt they will she is to good a dog!
It's nice to know that people are keepign an eye out.
We have put up loads more posters today, not going to give up!!!!!!!!

check sophia on DID site ' she loks a bith like a bulldog x to me but similar markings xx

Try all the pounds, dog wardens etc see if anyone has picked her up . There is also a police warden van

Sophia (staff) She was found in Finglas but if it is your dog she may have been strayed out there.

and she said apparantly Sophia was reclaimed yesterday
so everyone please keep looking for SAffi as she is somewere out there

so dolphins barn was the last place she was seen?do you live near there?im from that way and visit daily so ill keep my eyes peeled,she looks familiar..when did she go missing?

that bull dog was found by ashton, thay have a post up now saying that some one has taking in a dog fiting the missing staffy so fingers crossed its that one

She went mising on Sunday night 01/02/09. We have had no confirmed sightings since that night at the Maxol Garage on the canal. And at this stage whoever has her must be determined to keep her, she really is a lovely dog! I just hope they are giving her as much loving as we did.
I'm really losing hope and the tears are welling up as I type this.
Thank You soooooo much to everyone for being so kind and thoughtful I just wish whoever had her realise how many hearts are breaking at the moment.
And I'd like them to try to explain to a 3yr old that her dog isn't coming home. Everytime we walk out the door she asks if we are going to get Saffi now?

I really feel for you Kylee, it must be devastating, but please don't loose faith, she's out there somewhere and if you keep telling people about it chances are that someone sooner or later will notice her. Have you thought about putting an ad in a newspaper?
I really hope that Saffi will be home with you soon

never give up hope look at the man on gumtree his 2 staffys went missing 2 years ago and he got one back last week so the other not far away she will be found cant hide her 4 ever

Keep the spotlight on her, put posters up and keep putting them up. Cover the same ground again and again. Email every dog pound in the country and every rescue you can. Someone will then recognise her if they see her, don't concentrate on finding the people who have got her, make sure everyone will know it's your dog when they see her.

im originally from dublin 8 so ill look out when im down there,she is destintive looking so she will be spotted straight away,whoever has her probably thinks she was abandoned like most staffs are,i just hope its not long untill shes home with her family

We are still plastering posters everywhere we go! Up to about 2000 now, I just may get done for littering soon???
I think whoever has her is keeping her hidden because at this stage we have eyes everywhere and not a single dribble of information.
We have been offered money for her sooo many times when we are out walking because she's a big staff and she has fabulous markings. Her face is just beautiful!
And because she hasn't been neutered she really is a catch.
I just hope that she comes home to us! I miss her cuddles!
