Hank - 1 eyed Bull Breed needs a new home

Post  Kazza on Fri Nov 13, 2009 3:41 am

Meet Hank,

He's a bull breed X who is looking for his forever home. He had to have 1 eye removed because he had a condition called micro eye. Hank is 9 months old and was rescued from being PTS by his current family when he was 3 months old. However they didn't realise how big he would grow and their home is not suitable for him. Hank is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. He is great with other dogs, with kids and is house trained (at the moment he lives with his staffy buddy Jake).

If you are interested in giving Hank a forever home then please post here, PM me or email friendsofbendogrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application form.

I think this is Hank, does anyone have a contact for owner or know what has gone on with this dog?

I have left a message for his owner to let them know that he is in the pound. Will update as soon as I hear back.

Thanks Karen. He is due out tomorrow but we will not be taking him out as we cannot afford to. If you get a chance could you pass on the owner's details to Martina just in case we get him or some other situation?

surprised oh no This poor guy is not at all happy in the pound and is obviously missing his canine pal. Apparently, he has been in to visit all the other dogs in the pound by climbing the kennel walls!!! He is also very thin and these dogs tend to lose weight in the pound also so I can imagine that he will be even thinner.
We don't have the money to release him and even if we do we have nowhere for him Sad I am really worried for this guy, especially since he only has one eye. crossedfingers

Apparently she is to reclaim the dog from the pound tomorrow and hold onto him until a home is found....but we'll see
