Found a Lab

I found a gorgeous lab x tonight in liffey valley, very nervous and looking around at everybody passing. no id but wearing a blue choker chain. extremely thin. managed to put auras lead on him and after an hour in the rain and no sign of an owner put a blanket over him and got him into my car, took some encouragement to get him into my house and he is here now after a big feed chilling on the couch, he is such a dote. had to cut the collar off his neck which is black, would love to keep him but taking him to the dspca tomorrow to see if he is chipped cant seem to see anyone looking for him on the sites

Poor fella and well done for taking him in. Make sure you report that you've found him in writing to your local garda station, as otherwise you could find yourself being prosecuted by the dog warden for not reporting that you found him. Any photos of him? If he's that thin he may have been straying for a while, poor fella.

Poor dog - lucky he met you on this yucky day and am glad that he is warm and dry tonight.

can i email a pic of him to someone? the dspca have said its ok to take him there in the morning which would be great to see if he is chipped and its safe but i mite just see if hes chipped and hold him for a day or two..dont no what to do he is really sweet

ive been to the vet no microchip he just sad he was underweight, im going to keep him for a few days to see what happens, i have been checking the sites but havent seen anyone matching his description, am not able to put pics up it never works for me, have also let the police and the pound know.....my instinct tells me no-one is looking for him so we will see.
