Highway - Male Yorkshire Terrier *reunited*
This little dude was knocked down by a car and is currently recuperating in my vets.
He's not good with other dogs but was happy to have a cuddle from me. It's difficult to make a full assessment of his temperament at the moment as he's still in some pain. Ideally we need a foster home for him to recuperate for a while so that a full assessment can be made before rehoming/going to rescue. Preferably a foster home with no other pets or children, just to be on the safe side.
If you can help please PM me.

Re: Highway - Male Yorkshire Terrier *reunited*
Found out a little more about this guy when I was down at the vets. He was run over by a horsebox, poor little guy, and has injuries to his chest, although we're not sure how extensive they are, as to do an x-ray would involve knocking him out, and as he seems to be getting better, the vet doesn't want to put him through the anaesthetic as she doesn't think he'd come out of it. He's an older dog and it was the woman that found him that said that he was aggressive, but the vet feels that it was simply because he was in so much pain. He hasn't displayed any aggression towards people in the surgery, but has growled a bit at other dogs. He's not neutered either. We'd really like to get him into an adult foster home with no other pets, to enable us to do a proper assessment of his temperament and see if it's all pain related.
yorkie
I'd be interested in fostering him. I had Freeway a few weeks ago - another yorkie. No kids, no other dogs. Small yard. Can he walk?

That's great Trisha. Yes he can walk and he's getting better by the day. I'll let the vet know that you can take him and then arrange to get him to you over the next few days.
You're a star!
