Special appeal for Ruby - *home needed*

Ruby Ruby Ruby Rubyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! Love her, love her, love her and was like a child at Christmas when I found out a fosterer had come forward for her. Like you I'm afraid to hope in case I jinx it for her. I was supposed to be visiting Ruby tomorrow but it's going to have to wait until Wednesday as I have an appointment straight after work tomorrow. I can't wait to see her again! Will take my camera and try to get some pictures.

I went to visit Ruby today in her new foster home and what a difference! She's just settled in so well, a dream dog. Michelle and Graham did so much work with her and have gotten her over her fear of other dogs and this seems to have led to a huge reduction in anxiety overall. She's so well behaved, she's really going to make someone the perfect pet very soon I hope.

Here's some new photos taken today. I brought her over a boomer ball - talk about a hit!

And a couple of pictures that her fosterer took over the last couple of days - as you can see Ruby has been making herself totally at home :)

It has really made my month to have this wonderful dog settled in a foster home. She is such a clever and affectionate girl. Thanks so much to Leitrim Animal Welfare for looking after her for so long, to Michelle and Graham who took such good care of her for the last few months and where she got such great socialisation, to Anne for all the training help and advice that has been great for Ruby, to Karen for all her efforts to help Ruby and for making sure all her stuff was safe til she found her foster home (and for loving her to bits as we all do) and to Michelle who is fostering Ruby....what can we say. THANK YOU. You are giving Ruby a wonderful gift.....she will be so ready for her new home in a few weeks.
