new foster
Well with all the comotion last night with Tia my foster dog arrived. He is from meath pound and is such a sweet boy but is wanting to come in the house, poor fella but I have new shed set up for them so house is a no go area.He is a black male retriever and is lovely. His name is Marley because he had so much dread locks he looked like Bob Marley he got a lovely hair cut and was neautered and I shall de flea him today.Bruno is very inerested in meeting him but it wouldnt be wise as Bruno is very territorial especially with adult males.Ill try get a pic if I get a chance

Re: new foster
He is grand but I havnt introduced him to Bruno as I just have a feeling it wouldnt go well.He is such a sweet boy but he wont leave his bits alone or lack of he has disolvible stitches in but it looks different to when Bruno got done, when he came to me he had just gotten out of vets so I checked him and there was like a tiny gap but not opened if ye know what I mean.He is sooooo sweet omg he would be a great pet.Tummy a bit ickey after the pound food but hopefully it will pass in a few days.Whats the best cheapest food ye can get if that makes sence.

Re: new foster
I find either Red Mill pet or Bakers ok. Dont actually fed my own dogs on it they get RC but i feed the fosters here with either of them 2. There is a great shop in Portlaoise that does all sorts of food often have bags that are ripped or going out of date they sell for next to nothing. They have at the moment 15 kg of JWB fo 17e, Also they sell sachets of mixed dog and cat food 60 in a box for 9e finds it helps to spread out the nuts. Also if there not used to eating the nuts it flavours it for them.

Re: new foster
I bought Madra for Hendrix a couple of times but won't do it again. He gets the smelliest no2 (to put it nicely :P ) and he shed more that usual..Boxerly wrote:has anyone used Madra??if so is it crap
Have him on Red Mills now and it seems good. Tried RC but the fussy fecker won't eat it!!
