Is there anyone that can foster this gorgeous girl. Friends Of Ben will pay for all food and provide bedding etc.
The nights are freezing and she's way to thin to be in the pound.
Pretty please??????

Geenie badly needs a foster home, is anyone there that can help?
I would take her myself but already have a foster with me plus my own two.

This is Geenie's last chance to get out of the pound. There is no point in regretting not coming forward after the event.
Even if you can only foster for 2 weeks, so that she can put some weight on, then we can look at boarding her after that.
I can't have another bullbreed bitch in the house with Millie and don't even have a shed in the garden to keep her in.
It's breaking my heart seeing her in Dunboyne in that state. Millie was just like her this time last year, and look how much progress she's made. I absolutely 100% guarantee you that this girl will be so grateful for a warm bed and some food, that you will have a friend for life in her if you can help her.

Re: *Rehomed* Dunboyne Surrender - Geenie, Staffie x
thanks Lily for trying to help Geenie.
It's very cold at the moment and to be in the pound is not the ideal place for Geenie being so skinny.
Please if anyone can foster her let us or Martina know

Geene is going to spend few nights with me and Karen while her foster home is finalised.
I bought her a big duvet yesterday and I think she really loves it she slept in the crate all night without a peep out of her.
She is very skinny, I can't believe she was surrendered in that state and despite her conditions she is very sweet and just wants to lick your face.
Here's another photo where you can see how bad she looks, but hopefully her future will be much brighter now and I she will never be in this state again.
and this is a little video with Geenie and my mad-collie Belle...maybe a bit too much playing for the moment

Geenie is here with me now. She's curled up alongside me on the couch snoring away - it's like my own private hot water bottle! Currently taking turns between her and the other 2 as when the 3 of them are in the same room it gets quite boisterous and Geenie hasn't learnt how to behave appropriately around other dogs yet - she doesn't realise that some dogs don't like it when she tries to jump all over them!
Other than that she's fantastic. She's eating away. She's not housetrained but as she's used to the crate, we've been able to manage with no accidents so far She has a touch of kennel cough so just put her straight onto antibiotics to shift it, as she has enough to be dealing with, with her skin infection and trying to put weight on.
Millie and Sandy seem fine with her so far. Will be their turn on the couch with me shortly - they've just worked for their dinner and are in post food sleeping mode at the moment

Myself and Geenie had a lovely nap for about an hour and a half - she's really toasty on a cold evening like this, and unlike my two nutcases, she'll just snuggle in beside you, not try to sleep on your head or walk all over you while dislodging a kidney
Fantastic photo of her Elena. She looks great in it. Her eyes seem to be much more itchy today, poor thing.
