bundle of fluff
Had a call from a lady who is moving house and not allowed to bring her puppy with her. Havent seen him yet but seen a pic of him, he is about 5 months old, looks like a sheep i would say by pic prob a sheepdog, german shep x. He is pure white and fluffy. There is only one prob with this fella one of his front legs is deformed, he has 2 paws on the one leg. Says it causes him no problems. I Will be getting this lad tomorrow.

Floppy Collie x
Floppy the white collie x is now up in the vets in Kildare where they are going to try and repair his foot. He is a sweet little lad very good. Dont think he had ever been on a lead as he seemed frightened of it and traffic.
The vet thinks that he might be able to sew the paw together, looks like the paw has split down the middle, he will know tomorrow after he has been examined in more detail and xrayed. Will also be nuerered while under.
I will get pics posted up of floppy and his paw in a few mins. If any kind person could help towards this lad, we would be very grateful. Me, Regina and Anya from the PI board are going to try and raise some money for this lad.

Re: Floppy Collie x
This poor lad at this moment is having his leg removed. Nothing else they could do. This was the advise of 3 vets.

Re: Floppy Collie x
When they x-rayed they seen how bad it actually was. One side of the paw could actually rotate 360.

Floppy seems to be doing great. Gone home for her recovery period with Regina. Think we have a home for him in England.

Floppy
Floppy - now renamed Sunny cos he's such a happy little fellow has landed on his feet! My brother has offered him a special home for his special needs, he is having his stitches out today and a video of him is being sent to a very helpful 3 legged expert Sarah in the UK and she will advise him on long term considerations for sunny's care and joint mobility etc. We are slightly concerned about his other leg startin to bow so fingers crossed this will be the end of his terrible ordeal. A note to any1 faced wit this decision in the future, apparently it is best to remove the entire shoulder as leavin it there causes problems in later life - I didn't kno this and it's too late for sunny but this bit of info might help the next case.
