Willow is huge!! I mean really huge - polar bear size - and also a bit overweight!! She just came in today and is very nervous. As soon as I entered her kennel she ran back and was very unsure about me. So I waited a bit and started calling her gently. She made few attempts to come close to me but she was too scared to let me touch her. She is really big and seems well looked after. If you can help please post, pm or call Martina on 086 2228902.

Willow is a surrender and she can be rehomed straight from the pound. If you know someone interested in Willow I suggest that they go to the pound and meet her so they can decide if it's the right dog for them

Directions:
Take the Blanchardstown Exit off M50. Proceed past Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and take Clonee & Dunboyne Exit off N3. Go straight through Clonee and on to Dunboyne. Pass through Dunboyne Village, keeping Shell Garage to your right. Exactly 4 miles out at bend on road with signpost for Summerhill you will see a gateway with two white pillars with "Blackhall Kennels" on small black sign. Go straight through gates and proceed to pound.

The address that chirpy posted was the pound for Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown County Council. This pound is not open anymore and the dogs from those areas are now taken to Ashton Pound.
Dogs from South Dublin areas are taken to Blackhall kennels - also known as Dunboyne Pound

Not sure what is happening with this. BIGGSD forum says that she is at risk and well over time and also there is a breeder sniffing about.

As far as I know she's out and safe in boarding so cannot be rehomed from the pound. I'm not sure what the situation is regarding her rescue space.

She's in boarding Caroline as her time was up so she needed to be taken out.
