Misty JRT and Benji shih tzu *rehomed*

Misty & Benji were rescued from a bad situation over the weekend, they are safe in a foster home now.
They are just settling in to their foster home, both appear in good spirits despite their condition. Both are friendly, Misty is lively and Benji is quieter & still quite scared.
They will be vaccinated, neutered & assessed before they will be ready for their new home. Homes considered will be subject to homecheck

Misty is 4 yr old JRT neutered ( tbc) female.



Benji 4 yr old shitsu male.





These dogs have been desperately neglected as you can see from the photos, they will be looking for very special homes, not necessarily together, will update shortly on situation.

Benji is off to the beauty parlour this evening for operation transformation. Misty is opting for a pampering bath at home.

Benji has been transformed, he's now wagging his tail & is very happy & lovable. He's like a different dog, really settled down, he will be in the vets soon to be neutered.

hi this is in regards with benjie a dog which was rescued by my friend grainne and she's looking for a home to look after him and i'm interested im not familiar with this kind of thing i'm very new in terms of "adopting" i'm not sure if thats the right word i have seen the dog and he's very cute, energetic and friendly. please if you could tell me the proper way it would be helpful. Grainne said she will keep me posted. hi rommel, anyone that wants to adopt a Friends of Ben dog will have to go through a homecheck. I will email you our homecheck form and you can just fill in your details and return it to us. We will then contact you for a homecheck

Misty is fully vaccinated spayed mircrochiped and ready for her permanent home.
This lovely girl just loves to sleep and be cuddled, she is real low maintenance & would be suited to a quiet home with lots of tlc -- no need for energetic walks for this little girl
She is really well behaved & easily pleased

Any idea how Misty is with kids? Have a home looking for a small dog, good with other dogs and children.

She is good with other dogs & would be best suited to older kids maybe 8 plus.
She's more into cuddles than playing ball, will get better update from Grainne tomorrow.

I met misty again today, she is a gorgeous little dog, very affectionate & quite.
I know her special home is out there just waiting for her

Just received an update on Benji from his new family.

Just a quick update on Benji who was rehomed lastweek. He is doing super well and is extremely happy in his new home. Plus, he has made us super happy too. Thank you guys so much. From the Home checkers to the Foster Mam's and Dad's, thank you. I sent a few pictures of "Ben" (after Friends of Ben) all washed and playing in the back garden. He loves to play fetch and he is very fond of his walks. I don't think it will be long before he is bringing his lead to me himself to say...."come on let's go now!" He is so clever and fun to have around the house and is learning so quickly.

lovely update! I am really happy and Ben is a very lucky fella, his life is so different from the one he was living before he was rescued...

I did a homecheck for Misty today and she's off to a smashing home with the most gorgeous boyfriend ever (seriously, I just wanted to pop him into the back of the car and take him home!!!)
