Can you attend the sponsored walk?
Re: Sponsored Dog Walk 9th March 2008
Sorry, there's been some confusion!!! On the sponsorship cards it says the dog walk is starting at 1pm but the we've posted here that it's starting at 2pm!!!! Let's go with 1pm as that's what's printed on the forms. Sorry for the mix up!
Good luck to Friends of Ben
We can't attend on March 9th but just wanted to wish everyone involved 'good luck'. Have a lovely day & happy walking!

By the way...
It might be worth you contacting the newsdesks of the Evening Herald, Northside/Southside People and radio stations to try to get coverage if you haven't already?
Have a great day!

Re: Sponsored Dog Walk 9th March 2008
Just reminding everyone about the sponsored walk on Sunday. We're all meeting at the Papal Cross at 1pm and will head off from there. It will probably last about an hour. The more we can get there the better. Remember, if you haven't got a sponsorship card yet email me (kazza23@hotmail.com) and I'll send it onto you. For those of you who have your sponsorship sorted you can bring it along on Sunday or paypal it to the paypal account by clicking here:

Re: Sponsored Dog Walk 9th March 2008
Sorry, been out on the piss at the rugby all day and heading out again. Will try to remember to bring along some sponsorship cards tomorrow but if I don't, you don't have to have your cards in tomorrow - they can be sorted out later!!! Looking forward to being out in the fresh air and getting rid of my hangover Have passed up on a free fancy lunch out in a restaurant with my brother and the rest of my family so there better be a good turnout lol!

What a brilliant walk!! Hendrix was a bit freaked out with all the dogs at first but once off the lead he was happy as Larry! Should start doing this more often. It was so nice to meet everyones doggies, they're all stunning!!

Walk Photos
Well we had a great time at the walk today and all the dogs were so good We got chatting to quite a few people who were out walking their dogs and bragged about the merits of rescue dogs
Millie is now curled up in her bed and is completely zonked after all the action, bless her. She just absolutely loved being around all the other doggies. I may have to consider getting her a playmate at some stage!!!!!
Here's some pics.
Elena and Belle
Sean decided to take Millie on a run up the hill to the cross and then back down again
Angel, the DLR GSD that nearly didn't make it out of the pound turned up so it was great to see her looking so well.
The dogs didn't know themselves with all the open space to run around and play!
Rachel and her pregnant new addition
Dempsey made a new friend and frightened the owners when they realised that's how big their little puppy was going to be
The gorgeous Mr Dempsey - such a different dog compared to when he was in the pound - he had great fun playing with the other dogs.
And here's Dempsey's girlfriend, Holly
Poppy, Dempsey and Holly all having a sniff
Beautiful Belle
Millie discovered a new game today (holding the lead in her mouth and refusing to let go lol) and Sean and Jack were only to happy to play it with her.
All in all a great time was had by all. We should definitey start meeting up more regularly with the dogs - it was a lovely day.
