Re: staffy boy on need urgent *reunited*
could this be the staffie x posted in the lost dogs of the ISPCA:
Lost Dog, Jan 31st, Rathcoole
Bertie is a brown & white Staffie Cross. About 18 months, still very puppy-ish and playful. Absolutely loves people and other dogs, very very friendly. Microchipped. No collar. White at front of chest and front paws and around the neck. Really short and healthy coat. Sorely missed - heartbroken! Please ring 087 9795715 or 087 6895929 (updated 02/01/09)

Berties Back!
Hi all, this is Lisa co-owner of Bertie. I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone involved in the big saga last night that saw us re-united with Bertie. I was starting to give up hope, especially with the severely cold weather we've been having. Its given me a real boost to see the way everyone pulled together the way they did. Good things actually happen when people care!
We got the little fella home, washed him and stuck him in front of the fire and he didn't move from there all night, looks like he didn't enjoy the snow!
Thanks again, and I will check here regularly in case theres anything I can do in future to help out.

Re: staffy boy on need urgent *reunited*
hi Lisa, great to know that Bertie is safe at home enjoying the fire
It's important never to give up hopes as there are nice people out there that can always help. Yesterday we also managed to reunite two other dogs with their owner, so it was really a good day for a lot of doggies (and owners )
