Mac and Connie - 2 gorgeous staffies *gone to rescue*
This gorgeous boy and girl are looking for a new home as their owner has had to take a paycut and can no longer afford the rent on her house and has to move into an apartment with her friend. Ideally these two need to be rehomed together. Mac is the black male and Connie is the red female.
Here's what their owner has to say about them.
Both dogs are in excellent health and are happy and in good physical shape. They are walked every day for 1hr or more by me when I get in from work, off leash in a local park. They both wear muzzles (although they don't particularly like them!). They come when they are called, love to play and are friendly (Connie especially) with other dogs. They are fed once a day, after exercise. They eat Belcando, a breeders food, high protein for their breed. Dry, nothing else apart from the occasional marrowbone.
Mac is not too bothered about other dogs, and prefers the quiet life. His temperament is very loving but he can be boisterous at times. He is much happier around people, one on one, a big cuddler. His history according to the DSPCA where I got them from is that his owner just sat in with him, stroking him, for the few years he had him.
Connie is always pretty placid. She is much calmer generally and more obedient. She likes to be around other dogs. she loves to cuddle too, a big licker.
I have had them for 2 years. They have been around children but as they are muscly and over friendly initially, probably would be better with older children.
Both are neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Yes ideally they need to stay together. They have a rescue space in Sweden :)

I know these two doggies. I know their owner too... Caroline. Mac is an absolute sweetie and so is Connie. Given the chance they give you a little chew of the chin. But both are great fun and very loving. If i were in a different situation i would have taken these two. Whoever homes these two are going to be very luck indeed. Good luck Mac and Connie xxx

I transported these 2 beauties to wexford. They were fab - My niece came with me and sat in the back seat in the middle with a dog on either side. Connie (brown) just lay across her lap and fell asleep and Mac (black) was just licking her face and when he wasn't licking my niece's face, he was licking Connies. I seen the bond these two have and i think they should be homed together if possible.

These two gorgeous doggies are off to their new home (together ) in Sweden tomorrow.
I'm so happy for them. Michelle completely fell in love with them when they were staying down there.

Its absolutley brill that these babies got to stay together - i was thinking about it and it would have been almost impossible to get a good home for these two here, such a shame we really do need an attitude adjustment towards these dogs (well, all dogs but particularly restricted breeds). Well done Karen in getting these two organised.
